If you're like me, it feels like you've been given the “key” to making positive changes in your life on numerous occasions over the years by masters, gurus, and experts from all over the world. And like most of us, you've probably tried goal setting, positive thinking or any number of other different “keys”, only to experience limited rather than lasting effects in your life. In fact, if you've been trying to find the key for some time, you probably collected so many that your personal development key-ring is a little cumbersome.
Many years ago I had become frustrated with information that was able to fire me up for a few days before wearing off shortly thereafter. For me it was like spending a hot day at the beach and then back to a cold climate- these motivational tans just wouldn't last.
My years of research taught me that while most of the “keys to change” given to us over the years can result in limited success; they are difficult to achieve lasting change with because they lack an essential element.
I had literally read hundreds of books and done enough workshops to educate a small nation all in my pursuit of the “missing link” before discovering the key to making positive and lasting changes to any area of my life.
While working on my Ph.D. dissertation I researched the scientific evidence of my Personal Emotional Resonant Field. What was even more exciting was that I discovered that it wasn't just people who had Resonant Fields either; in fact I realized that people, things, places and even situations all had Resonant Fields of their own.
But what is a Resonant Field?
I'm sure you have experienced a feeling at one time or another of being instantly comfortable or uncomfortable with someone or in a certain place.
Our interaction with a Resonant Field is what we describe as being the good or bad “vibe” that people, places or situations give us when we first experience them.
So what is it that determines the resonance or “vibe” of a person or a place?
Strangely enough, it is the injection of thoughts and emotions that create the feeling, which according to Quantum Physics, is held as a resonance that we have an ability to be aware of - even though we might choose to ignore it as it mostly occurs at an unconscious level. Now I know this sounds very scientific, so let me put it simply.
It is the Resonant Field that determines whether we are drawn to or repelled away from a person, situation or place – whether we get a good or a bad “vibe” about them. Put directly as possible: You can only attract into your life what matches your Resonant Field. Your resonant field is your “Attracting Force”
The process that creates a resonant field is; our thoughts create emotions, the emotions allow us to access the feelings which set the resonance of our personal resonant field - which is what ultimately creates our reality.
The problem is that most of our thoughts are unconscious and more than 80% of our thoughts are repetitive. The repetitive thoughts create repetitive emotions.
When we perceive these repetitive thoughts and emotions in other people they are perceived by us as their dominant mood, or “personality”.
All this explains how we come to experience a life of recurring themes and recycled emotions, why we find it difficult to go beyond a certain level of success, attract partners that are less than fulfilling or find it difficult to hold a sustained sense of wellbeing. Your resonant field determines your body's response to life food and nutrition and so is constantly affecting your health, wealth and happiness.
This brings me back to that persistent reality that Einstein referred to at the beginning of this article, and how to change it.
The master key to success in changing any area of your life is gaining the ability to easily and quickly change the thoughts that create the emotions. Then you can change the deep feelings that create the resonance that attracts everything in your life….. or in other words, your persistent reality. Positive thinking, affirmations and goal setting just doesn't cut it on its own. You have got to go deep!
